I also did a little poking around and discovered the smbios kernel module. After attempting to load it, I get the following in /var/log/messages: Apr 27 07:47:47 neuro kernel: smbios0: <System Management BIOS> at iomem 0xf8640-0xf865e on motherboard Apr 27 07:47:47 neuro kernel: smbios0: Version: 2.03, Revision: 0.00 I again attempted the above once again, but to no avail.
