The problem with jails is that the code has its fingers all over the kernel, and therefore more than average attention is needed to the code and the way things are done. In addition to that we also have had a hard time defining where we are headed with jails, for instance there is a patchset out there which totally virtualizes the network stack, and that may be a better model for jails etc. The problem is that neither Robert nor I can currently find the necessary time to steer/maintain/mentor jails.
