Hi, My laptop running -CURRENT (with source from yesterday morning), just panic'ed - and I am able to reproduce the problem. First of all, on boot I disable ACPI as it does not work on my system. # dhclient ep0 on which the system crashes, here is console output: <snip> Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode fault virtual address = 0xc fault code = supervisor read, page not present instruction pointer = 0x8 :0xc02bd68e stack pointer = 0x10 :0xcd233c30 frame pointer = 0x10 :0xcd233c50 code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 current process = 21 (irq11: cbb0 cbb1) kernel: type 12 trap, code=0 Stopped at bpf_mtap+0x1e: cmpl 0xc(%edi),%eax db> trace bpf_mtap(c26ad780,0,c03e6d3b,215,100) at bpf_mtap+0x1e ep_if_start(c26fd600,c26ad880,1,0,cd233cb4) at ep_if_start+0x322 ep_intr(c26fd600,c04d7354,c0ecf790,c263c350,c25fbe00) at ep_intr+0xa2 pccard_intr(c26ad880,cd233ce0,c024dbad,c047f200,1) at pccard_intr+0x83 cbb_intr(c25fbe00,0,c03fb487,230,c0ecf790) at cbb_intr+0x1e2 ithread_loop(c0ec6680,cd233d48,c03fb2f9,312,6c65) at ithread_loop+0x182 fork_exit(c0243a10,c0ec6680,cd233d48) at fork_exit+0xc0 fork_trampoline() at fork_trampoline+0x1a --- trap 0x1, eip = 0, esp = 0xcd233d7c, ebp = 0 --- If I do the same operation when booted up with ACPI enabled, the machine just restarts..
