Try putting this in your /boot/device.hints:

hint.atkbdc.0.at="acpi"
hint.atkbdc.0.port="0x060"
hint.psm.0.at="atkbdc"
hint.psm.0.irq="12"

Not sure if this will help or not because my laptop works with or without
these.
