5.1-RELEASE kernel panic

Hello!

I'm having some trouble booting the 5.1-RELEASE
installation floppies on an old AST Premmia GX P/133
SMP machine. 

The system is currently running 3.5-STABLE without any
problems.

Any ideas anyone??
