Hi there,

Just build a new kernel (last cvsup from Oct 15th) and after booting with
the new kernel the system hangs with the following messages:

(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): Recovered Sense
(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): INQUIRY. CDB: 12 1 80 0 FF 0
(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): CAM Status: SCSI Status Error
(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): SCSI Status: Check Condition
(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): ILLEGAL REQUEST asc: 240
(probe3:ata1:0:1:0): Invalid field in CDB. Command byte 1 is invalid.

Above messages are repeated once more. Then it is dead.

ata1 is:
acd1: DVD-ROM <TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M1612> at ata1-slave UDMA33
