Off topic: Peter, I just sent a patch to Christos Zoulas to teach FILE 
about the new __FreeBSD_version scheme.  He said it would be in FILE 
4.09 (FILE 4.08 included some fixes but will be broken again with 4.10+ 
and will give misleading information after 5.x goes -STABLE).
