Hi all, after updating my system to recent sources (using yesterdays 23:30 UTC checkout), my mountd won't work as expected (as it does for about a year now). I'm using /etc/fstab entries like below to create chroot environments to build kernel, world and ports on a fast machine for slower machines. All machines in my environment are using similar fstab's. --- BEGIN /etc/fstab extract statler:/usr/src /usr/room/p2/usr/src nfs rw,noauto 0 0 statler:/usr/ports /usr/room/p2/usr/ports nfs rw,noauto 0 0 devfs /usr/room/p2/dev devfs rw,auto 0 0 procfs /usr/room/p2/proc procfs rw,auto 0 0 --- END /etc/fstab extract --- BEGIN /etc/exports /usr -alldirs -maproot=root -network 10.62.10.0 -mask 255.255.0.0 /var/www -alldirs -maproot=nobody -alldirs -network 10.62.10.0 -mask 255.255.255.0 /mnt/tmp -alldirs -maproot=root -network 10.62.10.0 -mask 255.255.0.0 /mnt/media -alldirs -maproot=root -network 10.62.10.0 -mask 255.255.0.0 /music -alldirs -maproot=root -network 10.62.10.0 -mask 255.255.0.0 --- END /etc/exports --- BEGIN error messages from /var/log/messages Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: can't change attributes for /usr Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: bad exports list line /usr -alldirs -maproot Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: can't change attributes for /var/www Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: bad exports list line /var/www -alldirs -maproot Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: can't change attributes for /mnt/tmp Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: bad exports list line /mnt/tmp -alldirs -maproot Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: can't change attributes for /mnt/media Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: bad exports list line /mnt/media -alldirs -maproot Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: can't change attributes for /music Apr 28 10:47:23 statler mountd[507]: bad exports list line /music -alldirs -maproot Apr 28 10:47:53 statler mountd[507]: mount request denied from 10.62.10.4 for /usr/src --- END error messages from /var/log/messages Finally I want say, that the first NFS mount succeeds, only the second one and all following ones will fail. I didn't found anything that guides me to solve an error I made on my own reading man-pages belongs to it (mountd(8), fstab(5), exports(5) and referred ones) and /usr/src/UPDATING. Any help would be very nice :-) Best regards, JensReceived on Wed Apr 28 2004 - 02:11:39 UTC
