Anyone else having boot issues with Thinkpad X31 and 5.3-BETA1?

On the machine which boots up CURRENT from late June up just alright, 
with ACPI enabled the boot hangs at ad0: detection and with ACPI 
disabled it hangs when ath0: is detected.
