panic: unmount: dangling vnode

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade my May-month-current box to 5.3-BETA and rebooting
in multi-user mode with a new kernel+modules and with old or new
/sbin/vinum produces the panic:

panic: unmount: dangling vnode

The interesting thing is if I boot in single-user mode and do the
following:

mount -u -w /
mount -u -r /
exit

The box will then happily go into multiusermode and everything seems
to work just fine. If i skip the two mount commands, it will panic
just as if you boot directly into multi-user mode.

Incase it matters, I have /usr /var and /home as vinum partitions.

Anybody got any ideas?

John
