I made a mistake when I upload the patchfile useing IE. here I resend th patch. try again. replace vidcontrol. #cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/vidcontrol #make ;make install;make clean #cd /usr/src/sys/dev/syscons #patch -p < current-syscons.diff then add VESA and PIXEL support in kernel. BTW: the output of "vidcontrol -i mode" show that SXGA+1400x1050, WXGA(1280 x 800), WUXGA(1920 x 1200), WSXGA(1680 x 1050) it not supported.one of my box support 1280x800. But I can only use 1024x768. I will work on that.
