FYI, I ran your patch since yesterday evening and the uptime is now 10:30. It seems to have successfully passed the nightly periodic stuff. I'm now recompiling my kernel with the third version of your patch, thanks to Peter Holm. Note this is my old notebook, and I don't have heavy applications running on it, except Xorg and Firefox. Here are my mounts: z6po:root# mount /dev/ad0s1a on / (ufs, local, soft-updates) devfs on /dev (devfs, local) /dev/md0 on /etc (ufs, local, read-only, union) procfs on /proc (procfs, local) /dev/ad0s1e on /usr (ufs, local) /dev/ad0s1d on /var (ufs, local) 192.168.1.222:/usr/ports on /usr/ports (nfs) 192.168.1.222:/bigone/space on /usr/space (nfs) 192.168.1.222:/usr/home/cvs on /cvs (nfs) Thanks a lot for your work. -- Jeremie Le Hen jeremie_at_le-hen.orgReceived on Thu Dec 02 2004 - 07:33:55 UTC
