Build of /usr/ports/net/gaim fails with spinlock error

After a (very) recent cvsup of the ports tree _and_ the src tree, I received 
the following error message while attempting to build /usr/ports/net/gaim:

Obviously, the problem occurs while one of gaim's dependencies are being 
built ... just thought that I would let everyone know.
