This is a 5.2.1 mini install ISO downloaded today. The Laptop is a 1.3 Ghz Centrino with 30GB drive, broadcom Ethernet, Intel 2100 Mini PCI wlan, 30Gb drive, ATI Mobilty Radeon 9000 graphics. When I select the default boot: It goes through much of the hardware detection and freezes at: Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec ata0-master: WARNING - ATA_IDENTIFY interrupt was seen but taskqueue stalled LBA=0 With ACPI disabled it is much the same with a few more errors before it hangs: unknown: <PNP0303> can't assign resources (port) unknown: <PNP0f13> can't assign resources (irq) unknown: <PNP0501> can't assign resources (port) fdc1: cannot reserve I/O port range (1 ports) unknown: <PNP0401> can't assign resources (port) unknown: <HWPc224> can't assign resources (port) Timecounter "TSC" frequency 1298903370 Hz quality 800 Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec ata0-master: WARNING - ATA_IDENTIFY interrupt was seen but taskqueue stalled LBA=0 In safe mode I get the same errors as above. With verbose logging I get: Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec lo0: bpf attached ata1: spurious interrupt - status=0x00 error=0x01 Current DB 0 ch = 0 Currnet OP KEY INT BR len Addr Depend Stat: Cnt 002c8000 OUTL ST_at_ ALL ALL 12 00000000 002c8080 8411:0008 RUN ACTIVE, ack complete(11) 0x000000e0 0x00450000 0xffbaffff 0x00000000 bus_explore done sbp_post_explore (sbp_cold=2) ata0-master: WARNING - ATA_IDENTIFY interrupt was seen but taskqueue stalled LBA=0 Varous Linux Distros work fine on this Laptop, and so does FreeBSD 4.9. Ideas? Solutions? Thoughts? Any other info I could provide to help fix this?
