You might want > to look into improved cooling, possibly water-cooling. :-) This is actually a notebook and not a desktop machine so the temps are higher than the desktop counterparts as my desktop P4C3.2 at 3.8Ghz runs at 50C full load. The P4M-2.6Ghz mobile processor runs at 63C even when idle. It might be the Thermal Interface Material just needs replacing or something. Is there a way to monitor the temperatures of the CPU since I do notice the load time averages moves up the the 6.xx when using -j4.
