Hi,
I just up my 5.1p11 to 5.2-RELEASE, and have a lot of such messages :

Jan 13 20:45:35 tiny kernel: ad0: FAILURE - WRITE_DMA status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR>
error=84<ICRC,ABORTED> LBA=79763263
Jan 13 20:45:37 tiny kernel: ad0: WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying
request)
Jan 13 20:45:37 tiny kernel: ad0: WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying
request)
Jan 13 20:45:37 tiny kernel: ad0: FAILURE - WRITE_DMA status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR>
error=84<ICRC,ABORTED> LBA=79763263
Jan 13 20:45:41 tiny kernel: ad0: WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying
request)
Jan 13 20:45:42 tiny kernel: ad0: WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying
request)
Jan 13 20:45:42 tiny kernel: ad0: FAILURE - WRITE_DMA status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR>
error=84<ICRC,ABORTED> LBA=79763263

just before the system freeze.

I have an Sil0680 Ata raid contrôler, with a maxtor 80Go UDMA133.

using UDMA100 solve the problem. It works perfect with 5.1p11.

here is my dmesg :
