ACPI And Dell Inspiron 8200

Hi,

Someone recently pointed out that I had all my items on the same
IRQ, and that I should go ACPI.

I tried to activate it in the 4.9 I was running, but it would
die on boot.

So, I bought a new hard drive for my laptop to test install it (I
also worried since it has nVidia as a graphics card, and worried that'd
be the bigger issue!)

I've installed current, and everything is still on the same 1
IRQ. Is there some resource I can go to see what to do about finding out
why, and how to troubleshoot, or is there something I need to do extra
that I didn't know/see? I do see things like :
