I tried it on a 15/5 -current (what I had cause I'm tracking down another 
bug :) and I don't see a problem.

Deleting [/tmp/audio/mp3/coldplay/parachutes/we_never_change.wav]
Rip finished

 [ auto eject by grip ]

I get no hang.

That said Grip seems to block when working which is a bit lame.
