Dear Sirs:

MB: Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2
ATA-controller: Silicon Image Sil3512
HDD: Seagate ST3200822AS x2
RAID: RAID0
FreeBSD version: 5.2-CURRENT #0: Sun Jun 13 00:25:11 JST 2004

dmesg:
atapci1: <SiI 3512 SATA150 controller> port 0xdc00-0xdc0f,0xd800-0xd803,0xd400-0xd407,0xd000-0xd003,0xcc00-0xcc07mem 0xea024000-0xea0241ff irq 10 at device 13.0 on pci1
ar0: 381564MB <ATA RAID0 array> [48642/255/63] status: READY subdisks:
 disk0 READY on ad8 at ata4-master
 disk1 READY on ad10 at ata5-master

above is my environment.

Disk access like newfs often causes RAID breakage or system freeze
with the following messages:

WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying request) LBA=29936146
  TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=16128

Any help or any suggestion?

Thanks.
