For info, please find attached :

atapicam.dmesg (a bit cut-off, I just have an old win98 box
with hyperterminal to server as serial console)

std.dmesg (same KERNCONF, recompiled without atapicam;
KERNCONF basically is GENERIC, unneeded drivers commented out,
SCHED_4BSD,HZ=1000 and acpi compiled into the kernel)
