Hi folks, I've got a USB2 removable HD with a NTFS partition on it. I kld'ed umass and ntfs, (ehci support built in kernel) and my disk got recognized as: umass0: Cypress Semiconductor USB2.0 Storage Device, rev 2.00/0.01, addr 2 ehci_idone: need toggle update status=80018d40 nstatus=80008c80 umass0: Get Max Lun not supported (STALLED) da0 at umass-sim0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 da0: <MAXTOR 6 L060J3 \0000\0000> Fixed Direct Access SCSI-0 device da0: 1.000MB/s transfers da0: 57259MB (117266688 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 7299C) I tried to mount it with: mount -t ntfs -o ro /dev/da0s1 /mnt/usb/ Suddendly, my machine panic'ed with: filesystem goof: vop_panic[vop_strategy] Is NTFS over umass storage supported? Or better, is umass over ehci supported?
