rcorder on /usr/local/etc/rc.d FreeBSD 5.3

Hello!

    Does RCORDER invoked on /usr/local/etc/rc.d? According to man the 
answer is no. So, if I want my daemon starts in apropriate order I 
should place its startup script to /etc/rc.d? Am I right?
