We can test required files & dirs before. - launch config. We can define env like LANG and so before. - make posible share an xdm launch background between xBSD. I think it real a better way that making /usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d/gdm.sh rcNG aware and maintaint a different launch method for xdm/kdm. Also, while the default config have xdm_enable="NO", all other methods are still active.
