I'm having a problem mounting a directory over NFS from an Irix machine to my FreeBSD box: 10:21am ghast / %ls -la | grep mnt drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Sep 17 11:52 mnt 10:23am dragon /home/jamie %showmount -e export list for dragon: /export/inst (everyone) 10:23am ghast / %mount -t nfs dragon:/export/inst /mnt nfs: /mnt: No such file or directory 10:28am ghast / %uname -a FreeBSD ghast 5.3-BETA6 FreeBSD 5.3-BETA6 #0: Tue Sep 28 09:56:57 EDT 2004 jamie_at_ghast:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ghast i386 10:28am ghast /boot/kernel %ls -la | grep nfs -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 204068 Sep 28 10:01 nfsclient.ko -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 109315 Sep 28 10:01 nfsserver.ko -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 43058 Sep 28 10:01 unionfs.ko 10:28am ghast /boot/kernel %kldload nfsclient.ko kldload: can't load nfsclient.ko: No such file or directory I'm not sure what crack it's on, as the module is right there. I have been able to mount directories from our Irix systems to this machine in the past.
