Correct. FreeBSD 4.10-STABLE also has a libncurses.so.5, with the aforementioned properties when someone runs a FreeBSD 4.x ncurses binary on a FreeBSD 5.x system. Looking at the contrib/ncurses directories, it looks like those versions are ncurses-5.1 and ncurses-5.2-20010512 respectively. Kris
