Even though it's always "runnable", it uses no CPU and can't be killed in any way that I can find. I have been having problems since I updated on Monday. Last Friday was fine. FWIW, I only see this with gkrellm, but the only thing changed between Monday morning when it worked and when it didn't was a new kernel.
