Starting with 5.0, the old architecture dependent LINT file has been split in architecture independent (/sys/conf/NOTES) and dependent (/sys/${ARCH}/conf/NOTES) files. Thus, you'll find it in /sys/${ARCH}/conf/LINT on 4.x. Here's the commit that renamed LINT to NOTES from ~4.5 years ago: http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?200006132228.PAA97611 Here's the commit that split NOTES into architecture independent/dependent files from ~3 years ago: http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?200204031809.g33I9Hj41673 JonReceived on Wed Feb 16 2005 - 19:21:21 UTC
