Silicon Image SiI 3112 Serial ATA controller support?

Hello,
          I wonder if you  could help I have an asus a7n8x deluxe and have 
been trying to install windows  onto a serial drive with no success it keeps 
asking for drives i down loaded  them but still no joy would tou know any way i 
can do this.
