Hello, I have a Specialix (now Perle) SI isa bus card. I use this with modems in a RAS server. Everything was fine until I upgraded the os from 5.3 to -current. Currently I could use only 1 port (4.) on the card. I can't open another port with kermit, or getty, too. This machine is an Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard, PII 400 Celeron processor, 256 MB RAM The SI card memory address space is reserved for isa devices in the BIOS. Configuration: /boot/device.hints hint.si.0.at="isa" hint.si.0.maddr="0xd0000" hint.si.0.irq="12" /etc/gettytab default:\ :pp=/etc/ppp/ppplogin:\ :cb:ce:ck:lc:fd#1000:im=\r\n%s/%m (%h) (%t)\r\n\r\n:sp#1200:\ :if=/etc/issue: m|Metallo:\ :np:hw:sp#57600: /etc/ttys ttyA01 "/usr/libexec/getty m" dialup on insecure ttyA02 "/usr/libexec/getty m" dialup on insecure ttyA03 "/usr/libexec/getty m" dialup on insecure ttyA04 "/usr/libexec/getty m" dialup on insecure uname 6.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT #0: Thu Jul 7 16:58:15 CEST 2005 dmesg si0 at iomem 0xd0000-0xd7fff irq 12 on isa0 si0: [GIANT-LOCKED] si0: card: SIHOST2, ports: 8, modules: 1, type: 1 (SI) Best regards, GezaReceived on Wed Jul 13 2005 - 06:13:47 UTC
