What do you mean?  Did you actually try the patch Gavin sent you?  It
clearly looks like you didn't.  You should give it a try, I'd be
surprised if it wasn't sufficient to fix your problem.  If you can test
it soon enough, we'll be able to add the device ID in time for
5.4-RELEASE.
