ata, thinkpads, suspend, ...

i am happily running a thinkpad t41 with current as of 28 feb
with nate's two ata patches.  it suspends and restores!  it
does pretty much everything.

but i did like sos's patch, which i also tried.  except it
broke suspend/resume, which was working with an unpatched
current.

and i have been traveling and out of touch for some weeks.
i would like to update and move forward.

what is the state of ata, thinkpads, suspend, ...?  did sos
or someone find the aipca probem with his patches?  did sos
commit to current with or without?
