I found in /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/program/setup, which i runned for a local installation. Earlier versions
required a server-install an then the workstation-install, but no longer 1.1.4?

After the setup i had my apps, now they can be found in /usr/local/bin/ and are (eg writer) called
openoffice.org-1.1.4-swriter.

Unfortunately, i do not get any icons in gnome-menu.
