ath not setting media type?

Hello,

while trying to get my new ath(4) mini-pci working on my (-current) TP X31, 
i encountered two problems:

from what i understand if_ath.c does not set themedia type of the interface,
and devd fails to match the notify section that calls dhclient.

and the second is that devd does not print the media type when ran in debug
mode .. it prints just :
"Testing media type of  against 0x20"
