Thanks to your patch for ata-raid.c and ata-raid.h
FreeBSD can use the raid-1 with only 1 disk

Your patch could maybe be merged in RELENG_6 before 6.0-RELEASE ?
FreeBSD support hotplug SATA for this controller?
