This uipc_sem.c file is build as part of the module build. I don't  
have the module excluded from my kernel builds, but it didn't break  
when I compiled a kernel with the changes. Are different warn/error  
flags for gcc active when building modules? I don't expect this and  
I'm surprised my build went fine after seeing this error. I also don't  
see ifdefs around those parts of the code, which may affect the build.
