Unless you have a fairly unusual setup (swapping into a file in /usr), /usr being full has nothing to do with swap being full. You can check swap usage with "swapinfo". There's no simple way to identify how much swap space is being used by each process but VSZ reported by 'ps -axl' might suggest the culprit(s) - a few excessively large processes or an excessive number of small ones. -- Peter JeremyReceived on Mon Jan 23 2006 - 20:34:01 UTC
