I only have access to a Solaris 8 machine, but from memory it looks the same as your Solaris 10 machine. Anyway, it's not terribly important whether or not Solaris is the same as FreeBSD for the master devices. The important part (/dev/pts/nnn) is the same everywhere. Stephen.
