FreeBSD sk driver reads only first two records before last pci/sk VPD
changes. Now it reads it all, and it is possible that VPD data in your
card is broken.

If you boot verbose with old -CURRENT, can you see 'bad VPD resource id'
messages?

Linux sk98lin driver had some workarounds for 'buggy ASUS VPD on K8V
Deluxe' (http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0404.3/0090.html).
I'm not shure, is it applicable to your MB.

Yuriy.
