I have a 6600GE or something like that (low-ish end fanless
card) and I can't get the nv driver to go above 1280x1024, even
though my LCD screen's native resolution is 1600x1200. It says
something (in the logs) about being prevented by bios, which
seems odd. Did you have to put anything fancy in your xorg.conf
file to enable the higher resolution?
