psm(4) doesn't work with custom kernel config

Hi there,

Unfortunately I have nothing much more to say that what is said in the
subject line.

I could try to fiddle the kernel configuration by switching each option
on and off individually but this would be very time-consuming. Though
I am willing to narrow down the root of the problem, I would be very
pleased to be given some clues.

With GENERIC I get:

% psm0: current command byte:0047
% psm0: strange result for test aux port (1).
% psm0: <PS/2 Mouse> irq 12 on atkbdc0
% psm0: [GIANT-LOCKED]
% psm0: model Generic PS/2 mouse, device ID 0-00, 2 buttons
% psm0: config:00000000, flags:00000008, packet size:3
% psm0: syncmask:c0, syncbits:00

With my custom configuration file:

% psm0: unable to allocate IRQ
% psmcpnp0: <PS/2 mouse port> irq 12 on acpi0
% psm0: current command byte:0047
% psm0: strange result for test aux port (1).
% psm0: failed to reset the aux device.

I've attached three files for each kernel configuration. Their same
is self-explanatory:
	GENERIC JARJARBINKS
	boot-v.GENERIC boot-v.JARJARBINKS
	vmstat-i.GENERIC	vmstat-i.JARJARBINKS

For those who prefer, I've also put these files on a web server:
    http://tataz.chchile.org/~tataz/psm_debug/

Thank you for your help.
Regards,
