After updating sources yesterday and deleting everything in /usr/obj/usr/src, buildkernel no longer builds. Sources from Friday afternoon (US/Pacific) did build OK. I get: cc -c -O -pipe -std=c99 -g -Wall -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wcast-qual -Wundef -Wno-pointer-sign -fformat-extensions -nostdinc -I. -I/usr/src/sys -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/altq -D_KERNEL -DHAVE_KERNEL_OPTION_HEADERS -include opt_global.h -fno-common -finline-limit=8000 --param inline-unit-growth=100 --param large-function-growth=1000 -mno-align-long-strings -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -mno-mmx -mno-3dnow -mno-sse -mno-sse2 -mno-sse3 -ffreestanding -Werror /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c: In function 'i386_ldt_grow': /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c:697: error: 'NULL_LDT_BASE' undeclared (first use in this function) /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c:697: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c:697: error: for each function it appears in.) cc1: warnings being treated as errors /usr/src/sys/i386/i386/sys_machdep.c:751: warning: passing argument 1 of 'set_user_ldt' from incompatible pointer type *** Error code 1 I don't see anything relevant in UPDATING. I am attaching my config and hopefully it will make it through the filters. Any idea what the problem might be? I did see a number of updates to this area recently. -- R.
