Unfortunately not,
Have the same problem here with an ASUS-mobo (Athlon X2)
with 7-current-amd64 and i386 with PS2 and USB-Keyboard.
Every combination of amd64,i386,ps2,usb hangs.
The machine ist completely responsible over the network,
but hangs on the console. Only cntl-alt-del is working (reboots
after a few seconds).
Sometimes (1 of 10 boots) the machine comes to the console-prompt.

Attached is a dmesg with 6.2-Stable for this machine.
There are no problems with 6.2-Stable.
