However I updated my -current because I was hoping to be able to use my webcam on -current. On a 6.2 system the pwcbsd driver works very well but on -current it does not. e.g. with mplayer: # mplayer -demuxer rawvideo -rawvideo fps=15:w=320:h=240:i420 /dev/video0 MPlayer 1.0rc1-4.2.0 (C) 2000-2006 MPlayer Team Playing /dev/video0. rawvideo file format detected. ========================================================================== Opening video decoder: [raw] RAW Uncompressed Video VDec: vo config request - 320 x 240 (preferred colorspace: Planar I420) VDec: using Planar I420 as output csp (no 0) Movie-Aspect is undefined - no prescaling applied. (End of file) pwcview: # pwcview Webcam set to: 320x240 (sif) at 5 fps Error reading from webcam: Input/output error The cam itself is recognized correctly and /dev/video0 is created. Has anybody managed to use a pwc based webcam on -current? Lars
