Hi, I've set up a box (ASUS V3-M2NC61S, AMD Athlon 4400+) with freebsd 7.0 current amd64. Even with gcc 4.2.1 20070719 none of the nic's is able to communicate to a Linksys WRVS4400N wireless router. I've tested the em and fxp nics on a freebsd 7.0 current i386 (Pentium III/500) and they worked as expected, also the builtin nfe under Windows. The problem is not limited to the Linksys router (auto negotiation, 1000baseTX, 100BaseTX), my notebook (connected by a crossover cable) with a builtin RTL 8168/8111 nic under Vista has similar problems. Even by connecting my amd64 box and the Linksys to a 10/100 switch there is no communication possible. Any suggestions?
