I've applied the patch to GENERIC as follows:
# patch < GENERIC.diff
It applied successfully then i started to build the kernel, however it says:
config: Error: device "usb2_serial_3g" is unknown
config: Error: device "usb2_ethernet_dav" is unknown

Btw, my uname -a says:
FreeBSD ghost 8.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT #1: Sat Dec 20 07:28:45
