I spent some time about six months ago comparing the FreeBSD and FreeBSD-derived Mac OS X implementations of smbfs, and the differences were almost all syntactic. In particular, their mbuf interfaces have all been renamed as part of the KPI work; they have also added some crypto/kerberos parts that we don't have. It would be interesting to do a similar comparison of with the OpenSolaris version. Robert N M Watson Computer Laboratory University of CambridgeReceived on Wed Jun 11 2008 - 13:35:56 UTC
