This is an invalid configuration.  It's always wrong to have "authmode wpa" in
there and if you're using wpa supplicant, you almost certainly don't want the
ssid bit either.  That said, I think it should be starting anyway and you
should be seeing an ifconfig error during boot due to the bogus command that
will be created.
