I lost ath0 support on current sometime between Sept 20 and Sept 26.

For a long time I was successfully using the ath_hal-20080528 patch  
successfully and IIRC it was committed to current and I compiled sever  
kernels with it and they worked perfectly but a few days ago I begin  
to not be able to obtain an IP with dhcp but when I boot the kernel:

all is well but newer kernels aren't.
