Hmmmm... I don't think there's anything wrong with the label
nor the code. If the label is rejected, the dmesg should show
that. Is there anything in the dmesg like?
	GEOM: ad0s3+00103bf1: invalid disklabel.

Also, could you trigger a re-taste by writing all zeroes to
the first sector:
	dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ad0s7 count=1 bs=512
