But you're covered on the license issue. The code is in the base already, and no one is suggesting removing it (as Warner pointed out earlier today). What I REALLY don't want to see happen here is a "religious fervor about the license is more important than performance" situation. If I wanted that kind of drama I'd use linux. (OTOH religious fervor about proving me wrong is almost as amusing as it is unfortunate, but that doesn't negatively impact our users.) Meanwhile, I'm pretty confident this is my last post on the issue of changing the default. I've said everything I wanted to say, and obviously it's not as clear cut as I thought it was.
